As part of their learning about the geography of America and Native American culture, classes 9, 10 and 11 watched a presentation and workshop by 'American West' lead by Alan 'Blackhorse' and his family. The children listened to stories told by Alan, were able to handle genuine artifacts (some made by Alan and his family) and watched them perform traditional Indian dances and songs. The children joined in the 'snake dance' and were able to ask lots of questions to support their work back in class.
