Challenges and Activities

Monday 22nd June - Sports Day

The Spar Lancashire School Games are hosting a virtual sports festival on the 30th June. This can be accessed at home so it would be great to get as many of you on board as possible.

The festival celebrates personal bests so there is still an element of competition and the activities are your typical sports day events.

VE Day

This Friday 8th May is a particularly important date recognising VE day. It marks 75 years since the end of World War II in Europe.

Street parties took place all over Britain and colourful bunting and flags were seen around towns and cities. It would be fantastic to see you creating something to celebrate VE day. We have attached a video, resources and ideas to give you some inspiration.

We know we'll be creating bunting for our windows. What will you create?

If you’d like to send us a picture of your VE day creations, we would love to add them to our class page and also to the board in the KS2 hall.

Take care,

Mrs Jones and Miss Embley
