Here are the activities for Monday 1st March.

Phonics

Today’s phonics lesson will be on zoom at 10.30am (please see the other post for the zoom link).

In this lesson, I will recap all the work we have covered so far this term. We will revise all the ‘special friends’ and new ‘set 2 sounds’ we have covered so far. After that, we will ‘Fred Talk’ some of the green words. We will then have a practise at writing a couple of these words. For this session please have lined and plain paper and a pencil/pen with you.

Writing

Write the word for each picture. Please see the portfolio section titled ‘Writing – Monday 1st March

Maths

Start by watching Numberblocks – series 3: fifteen

The children can then make a number poster for the number 15. They can practise writing number 15 and drawing/counting out 15 objects.

Afternoon Zoom

At 2.30pm there will be a zoom session (please see the other post for the zoom link).

In this session, we will be completing a few additions in preparation for Tuesday’s work so please can you have 15 counters ready.

Understanding the World

In this set of lessons, we learn about Spring. In this lesson with Miss Hughes, we learn the features of Spring and understand why these changes occur. After the lesson, look for the features of Spring by going on a walk with your grown up and taking photos
