On Friday the 18th March, the whole school took part in a fundraising event for Sports Relief. The children came to school dressed in sports clothes and took part in a variety of sporting activities. Some classes took on the challenge to run around our playground enough times to equal a mile! In the morning, our year five children helped the reception children use the new playground markings to follow the different trails. In the afternoon, the whole of Key Stage 2 took part in a mass warm up on the playground. Then each team point group competed in both a football and dance inter house competition. Key Stage 1 children took part in different sporting games in the hall. A great time was had by all children and a special thanks to Mrs Baron, Miss Fitzgerald and Mrs Stowell for all their hard work organising the activities.
