Phonics
Today’s phonics lesson will be on zoom at 10.30am (please see classdojo for the zoom link).
In this lesson, I will look at the previous sounds and recap our new set 2 sound ‘oo’. After that, we will ‘Fred Talk’ the green words: took, look, book, shook, cook and foot. We will then have a practise at writing these words in a sentence. For this session please have lined paper and a pencil/pen with you.

Afternoon Zoom
At 2.30pm there will be a zoom session (please see classdojo for the zoom link).
In this session, we will be play a ‘spot the missing number’ game. For this game please have some paper and pen/pencil with you. We will also have a story so please feel free to bring along a teddy and a blanket.
Understanding the World
I’m sure you have all seen the exciting news about the Mars landing last week! So I thought it would be a really good time to have a look at a ‘space’ unit.
In today's lesson, we are going to learn the difference between a rocket and a spaceship. We will then use construction materials to construct either a rocket or a spaceship. The key areas that this lesson links to are expressive arts and design and communication and language.
