"To be the best that we can be"

Wednesday 6th January

Hello Class 2,

From now on until further notice I will be posting your online learning each day on ClassDojo and here on our school website. It is not quite the same as being in the classroom, but I know that you will do your best and complete the lessons to the best of your abilities.

For each day there will be a lesson for reading and writing, English, maths and understanding the world. The reading and writing and maths will be a priority and the other activities will be for you to do as extras as you choose. Please do as much as you can daily. Some of the activities may seem challenging for your child at this stage of the year or you may find that you can challenge your child further so please feel free to adjust the activities as you feel you need to.

For some of the lessons, there will be a website link. This will take you to the Oak National Academy website where there are videos of the lesson and some activities to go with it. Work can be recorded on worksheets if you have access to a printer. I will also add worksheets to ClassDojo and here on our class page for your child to use or you can just use plain or lined paper. Alternatively, If you would like a book for your child to write in, please come to the school office this week to collect one. I would love to see a photograph of any work which is completed!

I hope that you enjoy the lessons. Please send me a message on ClassDojo or email me if you have any questions. My email address is: I will try to answer questions as quickly as possible, but please be patient as I will still be in school teaching.

Best wishes,

Miss Holden.

Understanding the World (All About Me)
In this lesson, we join Miss Hughes to think about and celebrate the things that we enjoy most. We choose objects that are important to us and talk about why they are our favourite things.
