Understanding Our Results
Our 2026 results demonstrate improvement in several important areas compared with the previous academic year.
The proportion of pupils achieving the expected standard in reading, writing and mathematics combined increased from 46.3% in 2025 to 50.0% in 2026.
Writing outcomes improved from 61.1% to 69.6%, while mathematics outcomes increased from 53.7% to 63.0%.
Average scaled scores also improved in both reading and mathematics.
We recognise that our overall attainment remains below national outcomes. Improving pupils' achievement, particularly in reading and mathematics, remains an important priority within our School Improvement Plan.
Our staff continue to focus on high-quality teaching, early identification of learning needs, effective support and challenge, and ensuring that all pupils are supported to make progress.
