International Maths Day
At Ightenhill, we enrich the children's learning with cross curricular themes. One class planned a party and realised that there were quite a lot Maths skills required! They measured the class room to design a floor plan, worked out how many party games they could have in the time given and calculated how much the party food would cost for the entire class! So many Maths skills covered and lots of fun was had by all.
