Speech and Language Interventions
Assessments and observations of children indicate underdeveloped oral language skills and vocabulary gaps among many disadvantaged children. These are seen across school, but particularly in the early years. This impacts on their learning and social skills in all other areas of school life.
Where assessments indicate a language need, trained TAs deliver the Speechlink programme.
