"To be the best that we can be"

What are we doing at school?

We have been adapting a familiar story in our literacy lessons. We created story maps which incorporated our changes, and then used them to re-tell our story to a friend. We will then use these to support our story writing.

We followed instructions to make our own fossils.

Halloween in Class 3

We made a pumpkin lantern in literacy. Then we sequenced some jumbled up photographs and wrote instructions.

We had a wonderful afternoon creating self-portraits using watercolours.

We have been looking in mirrors to help us draw self portraits and write descriptions of ourselves.

In maths, we have been estimating how many bears were hiding under a box. We then counted them to see how close our estimates were.

We have been learning about what planet Earth is made out of. We investigated how ice, water, sand, mud, grass and rocks feel.
