What are we doing at school.
The children have been weavers! They learnt how cotton is turned into a fabric by weaving the thread on looms in factories. The children then learnt about the Weaver's Triangle in Burnley.
Class 7 were first aiders for the afternoon where they learnt CPR and how to put someone into a recovery position.
The children learnt all about health and nutrition when designing and making their Seasonal Vegetable Tart. They showed real responsibility when handling sharp knives to cut the different vegetables as well.
Class 7 enjoyed dressing up for World Book Day today.
